Beautiful, Ornate, Syroco, Wall Mirror. Syroco​ produced mirrors framed by intricate floral scrollwork and other popular frame designs with an engineered wood-pulp material that Adolph Holstein who founded the Syracuse Ornamental Company in Syracuse, NY, U.S.A developed during the post-Industrial Revolution era for manufacturers to expand the possibilities of the mass production of intracately designed mirrors. This one is in its as found condition. Painted in a shabby chic turquoise paint. The frame and glass are in very good vintage used condition. With wear indicative of age and use. The maroon velveteen covered back use to be a dual standing and hanging frame, but the standing feature has been removed by the previous owners. It is a beautiful piece and gem. It would make an excellent addition to your collection or home decor. The piece measures overall 16 3/4" T x 13 3/4" W x 3/4" D. The mirrored space is 11 1/2" T x 8 1/4" W.
