The frame is a hard and durable, easy wipe clean plastic composite. It can be hung vertically or horizontally. Gorgeous oval/rectangular shape and layered depth frame with fleur de lis accents on top, bottom and sides. It is a brassy/gold color. The frame is in good condition with no chips or cracks it does have some missing finish that add to it's charm. The mirror is in really good condition with no chips cracks or scratches that we can find.
