Clear heavy glass pedestal cake stand and cover. Solid Glass. A decorative plate with what we would describe as a large pinwheel design. The plate is not flat. It has a slight curve and lip to it and is flared at the bottom. The top is made of a thick heavy glass with flat round washer shaped glass form then ball handle at top. This set can also be used and was made to also be a punch bowl! If you place the plate and lid upside down the ball of the lid fits inside the base and can be used for serving beverages. Very simple, elegant and versitile piece. There are no chips or cracks in the base. There are no cracks, but one side of the done is not as smooth as the rest. Not noticable but noteworthy. We placed a close up in the pictures. Overall it is in very vintage used condition. The stand measures 11 7/8" in diameter and is 4 3/4" T. The dome is 11 1/4" in diameter at the bottom and 8" T with ball. On the inside it is 5" T. It weighs 8lbs 6oz. This item will be shipped USPS. Combined shipping available.
