Japanese Lacquered Wood Jewelry Box

Very beautiful Japanese lacquered wood jewelry box from the 1960's. It is black lacquered with hand painted orange flower and foliage on every side. I do not have the key. It has slight wear, surface scuffs to the finish in some spots (see pics for details. When you open it, it has a gorgeous mirror on the inside cover, a tray that raises up on hinges. There is a red velveteen type material that lines the bottom of the box. The inside is clean and in good vintage used condition. Overall this box is a very nice piece to add to your collection or give to someone special for their keepsakes. The box measures 8 1/4" L x 5 3/4"D x 4 1/4"T. This item will be shipped via USPS.
